View Full Version : Short stock for moss 590
Where can I get a short stock for moss 590 .The fact ones are way to long. who and where make one.
Hogue makes a 12 inch stock and if Mossberg has them in stock you can get a 12" youth stock. I took my stock to the table saw and cut off 1". Fits perfect now.

You can also try a Speedfeed "Youth" 13" stock. I've referenced one source, above.
Those are the two places I would look. I went with the Hogue, and it really felt too short. Kinda wish I would have gone with the speedfeed stock now.
its called a saw and a steady hand.
I have a Knoxx Spec Ops stock on a 590. It is adjustable to your liking.

I go with the saw gang. I bought another stock and sawed off the width of the recoil pad, then replaced the pad. Feels great.

Get a Bantam stock for $22.00. I used some flat black spray paint to match my black plastic forearm. Works well for those of use who are carpentry challenged and live in a neighborhood of people who need my help to change a lightbulb
Do what I did with my Hogue short overmolded stock.
Get a Kick-Eze small size slip on recoil pad.
It adds about an inch and a half and feels just perfect to me, even when wearing armor and vest.
The Kick-Eze pad makes shooting full power buckshot almost pleasant too as an added bonus.
