GOP to hold gun-permit class

CINCINNATI (AP) -- The Hamilton County Republican Party plans to sponsor a class for people to qualify for a permit to carry a concealed weapon, the party chairman said last week.

The one-day class will be in late July and will be limited to 25 or 30 people, said GOP Chairman Alex Triantafilou.

Triantafilou said many Republicans are supporters of Ohio's concealed-carry law, which requires certified training to qualify for a permit.

"It appeals to part of our base as a party," he said.

There will also be one in Licking Cty July 26/27, benefitting the Republican party. I will be instructing it.

the instructional obligation for applying for a
Concealed Handgun License (CHL) in the State of Ohio.
Ohio’s foremost gun rights attorney Ken Hanson will present the Concealed Carry Law
portion of the course.

Firearms and ammo will be provided.
This will be an opportunity to shoot several different firearms prior to purchasing.
Cost: $150.00
