might be splittin' hairs on this one...

Sabre being a bit newer brand to ARs...which has more mil-spec features? pros/cons?

Sabre seems to be slightly more expensive than LMT but less than say a Noveske.

looking to spend up to about $1200 on an A3M4.

Of the two, I'd pick LMT first because I know their products better, but Sabre apparently does some really good work.

You could substitute any other manuf. than Sabre, and with the exception of Noveske and Colt, I would still choose LMT.

I am looking at getting a 14.5" mid-length Sabre upper though, but basically they're the only ones who make that setup currently. I already own an LMT.

The Noveske Afghan is a 14.5" midlength. Also CMMG makes a 14.5" midlength. I have a CMMG.

I have one of each and other than roll mark can’t tell the difference. Both have been very reliable.

I prefer a 16" middy, so my choice is the Sabre.
