Just picked up the upper from Spikes Tactical at the Orlando gun show on Saturday. I had built the lower a month or two ago. Hope to get the barrel broken in and begin shooting this weekend.

Thanks for sharing. You have done one heck of an excellent job.

I am completing my first lower build and beginning to ponder the upper assembly. I have shot springs and pins everywhere.

I finally completed by 18" build (slightly longer DD Lite rail), and it looks freakishly similar. Nicely done.

Only thing left is a bipod and possibly a trigger. I'm going to do Spikes "DIY trigger" with some lighter springs and a slight polish job. The stock trigger breaks really clean with a tiny bit of takeup. I like it, the break just needs to be a little lighter.

If you shoot a gun as well as you shoot that camera yor're doing ok indeed. Nice gun... great pix.
