Anybody ever heard of Keene's Depot, in Bardstown?

I haven't been there yet, but I first heard of them because their fliers were in The Turret (Ft. Knox post newspaper) a couple of weeks ago. Then we saw them set up in the exhibit hall at the NRA convention (only local dealer I recall) and my wife ordered a pair of Muck boots (ordered Saturday, arrived today).

The prices in the flier were pretty darned good and they had a ton of stuff listed (Springfield Armory, Kimber, S&W, Glock, Bushmaster, etc.) - I can't find it right now, but some things were priced even lower than Bud's - I do recall Romanian AK's were aboiut $359. Since they gave us good service on the boots and seemed like pretty nice people, I thought I would let everybody know about them.

I went there on Saturday and picked up a set of Crimson Trace Grips for my G26. ($149) Nice store, they also sell bait and other fishing supplies. Several Glocks, ARs and Taurus handguns. They had a cool Remington Side by Side 12 Ga, ($249) made in Russia. Glocks were $459 which is really good compared to Louisville stores. Rock River AR's started at $799, They carry silencers, but they only had one in stock others were marked sold behind the counter.

Also picked up some jerky and Kenny's Cajun popcorn.

Well worth the trip, right next store to Boones Butcher shop.

It is about 5 mins from the new Lowe and Wal-mart, pretty easy to find.

I just bought a Rock River Entry Tactical from Keene's, they were better priced than anything I've run across in Louisville. They also have Lewis Machine and Tool AR's. Whats funny is this is where we buy our country ham for Christmas.

I just went to Keene's yesterday, after getting a flier from a friend.
They had some pretty cool stuff, and the prices were decent. My wife wants the Springfield EMP for $1005. I'm holding out for the Benelli behind the counter.

I know what you mean. You can get a ham, fishing worms, guns and a case of COLD beer all in one stop.

And they are open on Sunday, which means there is a chance I can actually go.

I went to Keene's. Pretty good. They didn't have what I was interested in (either a Browning Hi-Power or a .45 ACP revolver) but they had loads of rifles and 1911's and such. Saw an interesting LMT AR-15 upper with inetrchageable barrels in different calibers.
