We sent my Dad's new BHP to Novak's shop to have the home defense package and new sites installed (basically, a trigger job, reliability package, new sites, etc.). They told us it could be up to 3 months; however it only took a week and half. Anyway, I took the gun to the range this week. I fired two magazines of S&B ammo through it and then replaced the target and fired one test magazine through it at 7 yards...I was impressed.

Here is the gun right before it was sent in to Novak's. The only thing that is different now on the external of the gun is the site set-up (an extra wide read side with a gold bead front site).

The trigger is very good. The biggest difference is in the smoothness of the trigger. I feel like the BHP has a unique trigger relative to my other guns. I am still adjusting to its longer pull with a medium weight SA setup. I shot this gun right after shooting my an 18 year old used BHP I bought and recently had refinished. Novak's felt less mushy to me than mine, it seemed to break more crisply/cleanly and is smooth throughout the motion.
