OK folks...since the MSRP for a Kahr PM9 DLC with night sights is just under $1000 (no joke: http://www.kahr.com/PA-1_9mm_pm.html ):wow: then we reserve the right to flaunt our stuff and post pictures of our beloved, albeit, overpriced beauties..SO LET's SEE WHAT YOU GO with all cool stuff that goes with them.... knives, holsters, mag holders but PLEASE, no car keys! :tongueout:

My PM45 will occasionally bounce one off my noggin:crying: but nothing serious. I usually wear a baseball cap when I shoot to deflect the wayward shell casings.

I'm not trying to anwer for The Fool but the Agrip has virtually no impact on grip size or concealability and is actually much thinner than the hogue slip on grip. However, it does improve shootability by improving grip feel and retention. I also added a hogue handall jr, installed it upside down and trimmed it so that the finger groove sits beneath the ring finger. I superglued it in place and put an Agrip on top of it. The only advantage of the Agrip in my case is that it helps keep the hogue in place and prevents the tacky hogue from hanging on clothes.
Lovely chunk of metal.

What kind of nightsights are those? I really like the ones that come to the rear of the slide and the factory NS don't seem to be that way. Nice piece BTW. I've had a P9 and PM9 for years. I'm anxiously awaiting my K40 Elite.

The sights I had put on mine are the Novak Style, which have Trijicon tubes in them. When I contact Kahr to order my night sights for my K9, I actually wanted the regular Trijicon night sights but Kahr was out at the time.... So "they" cut me a really sweet deal on the Novak style, and to be honest I really like them! I find them just as easy to see and line up as the Meprolights on my PM9..... and the best part is, the rear sight on the New Novak style rears are held in place with a set screw.... so you can easily adjust the rear when sighting in the new sights.
Thanks for the compliments!!! I really think the Steel Kahrs are beautiful pieces..... not that I don't like my P9 and PM9 just as much, but I absolutely LOVE my K9 Elite.
Excellent choice on the K40 Elite, you're going to love the way it feels and shoots...do post some pics once you get it.
I've carried my Kahr for four years and I absolutely love it. It is accurate, concealable, reliable, and beautiful.

Hey lance22, how is that Kydex? I have heard Kydex is murder poking in at you, but that Bear Claw holster looks like there are no sharp corners and is lower than the gun.
Yeah, I like the BearClaw. Everything is rounded out, smoothed out, and polished. There is no protruding, ill-fitted hardware but it's one tension screw is inset not outset. Every bit of excess / unneeded kydex is removed. And, smaller is more comfortable because it means less sqeezing and less pinching.
Kydex poking at you is easy to cure... carefully use a heat gun and change the radius of any offending edges/corners away from you.
Polish the small stuff on a polishing wheel. Use moleskin where needed.
I've made my only Kydex more comfortable than some of my "wait a year"
custom leather rigs.
Thanks for the response. May try Bear claw next time. Have seen his site and like the look.

You may be thinking of the T9's, 4" barrel & 6.5" overall length. This one's a Kahr K9 Elite 2003 NS, 3.5" barrel and 6" overall. Though your description is consistent with my experience. Maybe the angle of the picture is deceptive.
Never had a glitch of any kind. Hard to take apart at first, but that's getting better with use. Best out of box accuracy of any gun I've ever seen. Works great with either hand. I still love my S&W J frame revolver, but this one weighs about the same, and has displaced the J frame at my side as a usual thing. I'm a big fan of revolver reliability, but I'm thinking about giving mine to my wife.

Since user mentioned the T9, here's one for your viewing pleasure. I really enjoy shooting this pistol. Very nice recoil, full grip, smooth trigger and good sights make it a terrific range gun. The second picture shows a T9 in comparison to a Sig P232, note how close in size they are.

I have yet to find a comfortable solution for extra mag carry. Back pocket is a good idea but I have little ones around that like to stick their hands in my pockets and if they ever pulled out a spare mag, that would go over like a fart in church with my wife. http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e99/alnitak2/DSC_1683.jpg
Part of the design requirements were an offset clip to minimize thickness, tuckable, room to grab the grip completely and the ability to adjust the cant. The clip is replacable, if you prefer the standard clip (as shown on the mag holder) or a velcro clip (my intent as soon as I get an appropriate belt).
I rotated the clip on the mag holder so you can see that Dave even put the elephant on that! Very nice work.
Here are mine:
ColoradoStonema (http://glocktalk.com/forums/member.php?u=75626), that MK9 with the wood grips is very sweet.
When you look at the Kahr site and just see the wood grips as an option you don't get the full effect. Very, very nice.

She likes Gold Dots, CorBon, and Golden Sabres and all FMJ so far. Hates Winchester "SZX" (Bass Pro Shop), they seem to want to push the slide stop out while firing. Also doesn't like Hornady XTP as the OAL makes going into battery iffy.

Yesterday, actually. Know of anyone interested in a K40 Covert with Lasergrips??? I'm gonna standardize on 9mm Kahrs. I got that idea from somewhere! :wavey:

I was inspired by the photos of polished K9s by G20IWB24/7 and War Hammer, so I spent some time this past week working on my own K9. I polished the sides of the slide, did a bit of light polishing to the sides of the frame, and installed a set of wood grips. I didn't like the yellowish color that the grips had when I got them, so I sanded down the finish, stained them to a darker shade of brown, and then refinished them with some Tung oil.
So here's my K9 after all of the cosmetic work. The first picture was taken with bounced flash lighting. The second photo was taken with just window lighting to try and accentuate the polished slide.

Thanks for posting that black/wood combo Kahr K9. I've been looking for a Kahr K9, couldn't find one so I happend across a nice pre-lock S&W 640-1 and picked that up an WHAM; k9's started dropping from the skies!
typical! So I'm working on saving for a K9. I intend to have it checkered (front strap 30LPI) and then call it good! I'd thought about having a black finish added after the checkering but I think the black will show carry wear faster and perhaps more than leaving it stainless. I'll leave the stock grip on it becasue I love the softer grip on the K9. Why they don't have that same type of grip as an option for the MK9's is beyond me. I know it wouldn't be good for pocket carry but a lot (most?) of us carry the MK9 IWB.

It'd probably look good, but the lame point I was trying to make was I wonder what the gun would look like w/ more traditional 1911 grips on it. The steel Kahr's kind of remind me of a DAO 1911... kind of. :embarassed:

I like the look with the flush fit quite a bit.:)
Regards,
Greg
I like this a lot. So, how does one get the flush fit? Do you use a different magazine? Ask the service folks for a new floor plate? Thanks for letting me in on this. jrh

HA! That was an old brownstone apartment I used to live in... the radiators were worse.

It's a modified Officer's/compact 1911 magazine with a Kahr follower and spring:

Ok since we are adding pictures of our Kahrs with our favorite knives. I pulled this old relic out. It's a little rough for a Randall # 18 Solingen, but this one has actually been to 3 continents and helped to enable several heathen souls to meet their maker more quickly than they would have of their own accord. Not sitting on a shelf. And it is MINE !!! I still take it hunting with me. The P9 while less valuble, is still a virgin I'm hoping to keep it that way. It is a sweet shooter though. More noisy than the Randall though.

Is that a factory finish? It looks like it was sprayed on later.
^^ I bought it brand new from the store. I assumed it had a factory finish. Is there something you see that I am missing?
