Just got my Bedair Guiderod. Ordered it Sunday and had it Wednesday morning! The fit is perfect and it looks so much better than the blue steel part in the CW. I don't expect to see any less recoil with it, but it is far smoother than the stock part so it should cycle like butter. I know some of you think SS guiderods are a waste of money, but I think a stainless/polymer gun deserves a stainless guide for all the reasons you buy a stainless gun in the first place.

I also recieved 2 new wolff 20lb recoil springs AND 500 rnds of PMC Bronze line 115g hardball ammo!! I have sure been treating myself good lately

Anyway, the wolff recoil spring includes a standard striker spring with it and I installed it as well. I soon removed it being it was noticeably heavier than the stock spring. The recoil spring makes the gun feel new again. You don't realize how much your recoil spring has weakened until you replace it with a new one.

Anyway, my new goodies are installed and I have a total of 600 rnds to burn up at the range in the coming weeks!! :bluesbrothers:

Put another 200rnds through the Cdub on Sunday.

No malfunctions of any kind. The Wolff recoil spring and Bedair guide rod work great although the stock parts worked just as good. I sprung for the SS rod primarily for corrosion resistance and looks. This Kahr continues to impress with its unfailing reliability. My biggest issue with it is after reloading a few mags at the range my hand starts getting shaky when I aim the gun. Carpal tunnel?

Can anyone recommend a good mag loader for the kahr mag?

My second issue with my Kahr is ME. I just cannot shoot this gun as accurately as my 1911. If I bench rest the gun at the range its accuracy is impressive, but I for the life of me cannot get the hang of the DOA trigger.

Don't get me wrong, I still put the bullets close enough together that at close range I would hit what I was aiming for within a few inches, but with my 1911 I can get better accuracy much more consistantly and at far greater range. This is no fault of the Kahr, Its accuarcy is certainly there, I just cant seem to master the long, heavy trigger pull(compared to a 3 1/2 pound 1911 trigger).

Then again, I have another 400rnds of practice ammo to work on my dysfunction. I have no plans to sell this CW9 anytime soon. It is still the easiest gun I own to carry and conceal and its reliabilty trumps my struggle with learning to shoot as well as my .45

If I want to impress anyone with my shooting I bring out the 1911 anyway
