I guess I'm one of those guys. 03 HD with only 8K miles. I will say that she has never been on a trailer to a rally. I work a lot and cannot use my bike for work because of the amount of stuff I carry for work. Believe me, with the cost of fuel today I WISH I could use my bike for work. The tires on my Deuce only have 8 K miles but they are 6 years old and I have noticed some cracks in the side walls. Are some cracks OK or should I immediately replace them ?

Don't feel bad. My '03 Deuce only has 5200 miles. Of course, I just bought it last October with 4400 miles. And I put it in storage in November and got it back out this April, so I have put a few miles on it in the few short months I have actually been able to ride it.

Six years is wayyyyyyy too old. Not that I ever had tires that lasted me a year, but I seriously doubt that I would have two-years-old tires on my bikes.

Get some new Dunnys 402's . A set of tires is cheaper than a hospital visit and your scooter will get scuffed also.

Good luck and Ride Safe

Tires? 8000 miles 6 years Tires be made of brick. My Hayabusa has 6300 in 10 months and in morning gets 3rd rear tire Replaced the front at about 5000. I don't do burn outs but I ride rather fast and getting better in the curves.
I was told that these bikes like to eat tires. Now Iam a beliver.
