Anyone have experience or thoughts about the relative merits of the two different sources of replacement guide rod for the MK9?

I bought a stainless for a Glock 23 and it never worked right. Put the stock guide rod and spring back in and the issues went away. FTF mostly, some FTE's as well.

I got my SS guide rod from Steve Bedair. (http://guiderod.com/) For $25 shipped I couldn't pass it up. It looks great and functions perfectly. Steve was also very friendly and the service was very fast.
