and this will match the PM9 I picked up on May 7th. I traded in "gasp," an unreliable and troublesome G27 for a NIB PM45. Of course, I haven't shot it yet, but plan on doing so this weekend.

I can only hope that it is as reliable as my PM9 and my MK40. I'm really growing accustomed to these Kahr's.

Very nice. Come back and let us know how it shot and how the recoil was.

Well, fired 216-rounds through the pistol before I grew too frustrated to continue. Shooting WWB, Blazer Brass and Federal HydraShok all in 230gr, I experienced so many failures to extract on the last round that I gave up. The spent brass was getting wedged between the top of the slide and the ejector. The brass was wedged so tight that I had to wiggle the slide back in forth to loosen the brass so that I could pry the piece out.

The failures only worsened as I continued to shoot, resulting in sporadic failures to feed in addition to the last round failures to extract. This occurred with both OEM magazines and regardless of number of rounds actually loaded into the magazine. Needless to say, I'm not too happy about the situation! Out of the 216-rounds fired, I would venture to guess that I experienced 30 or more failures.

Not trying to insult your shooting abilities, you are more than likely a better shooter than me, but possibly limp wrist syndrome? Did you ask a range master to try and shoot the gun to see if the problem was the same with someone else?

No insult taken, but I've been shooting for over twenty years and am a Master IDPA shooter, and a former Master USPSA-IPSC shooter, so I know my way around a bit. This is my third Kahr and I own several sub-compacts to include several Glocks without any limp wristing syndrome. As for range masters, there aren't any on my private range.

I have the luxury to live in God's county where I have my own range setup to include, barrels, 20 pepper poppers, barricades the whole nine so I'm quite fortunate in that regard.
