So I shot the Florida Sunshine Games match in Central Florida Saturday 05/31 and someone STOLE around 100 rounds of 223 ammo from my shooting bag!!

I have shot matches at this range as well as the Malabar range for years now and I can not believe it would have been any of the ususal people from these matches. I suggest to anyone shooting matches in Florida to watch your gear closely. I was angry and disappointed with the shooting crowd at first but then was releaved they did not steal my rifle!

I had some old Gutamelan ammo from years ago which I used at this match. I know the Mil Surplus is hard to get and pricey these days but WoW!

Whoever took it I... I hope you shoot yourself in the face with it!--- Woogie woogie woogie... voodoo HEX hEX----

That's pretty bad.

I hope it blows up in their faces. That's why when I'm at our club range my gun stays on my hip. I don't want to be down range when someone decides to grab my gun.

The last time someone stole some ammo from me I found it the next day in my reloading room.

That's a shock. Back in the 80's when I was shooting high power in Florida, you could leave your gear unattended with no worries. I seriously doubt it was one of the competitors.

That sucks. Highpower shooters are some of the most trustworthy people I have ever met, but I guess a few bad apples can be found anywhere. Things have been getting lost at Perry as well, especially during the Garand matches when the "never shot a rifle in my life but I wanna buy one from the CMP" riffraf shows up.

It only takes one jerk. I had a timer stolen from my range bag at a match once.

OTOH, i left a jacket at a club and didn't come back to shoot a match there for nearly 2 years. The coat was on a nail in the shed and there was still 5 bucks in the pocket.
