Send some my way, please. :wavey:

Every storm in the last couple of months has gone just a few miles around us. The creek looks more like August not June. 1/2 hour west of here they had minor flooding Wednesday, Me = bone dry. The same thing happened last year, my garden suffered bad. :faint:

After an hour of string trimming, I decided to sit my fat ass on the ole John Deere and mow. I got almost half done, when the storm rolled in. No sooner had I got in the door, down pour started.

I'd love to. We've had over 4" over the past few days, and we weren't short of moisture to start with.

you can have some of ours, too. Only trade is y'all need to start doing some offshore oil drilling down that way, and send some of it up here

We've had a straight week of rain, and tornado watches. I was in the library the other night, when we had the air raid siren go off. They moved everyone into a hallway for cover. They probably thought I was nuts for checking my stuff out, and walking out the door.

There has never been a tornado in my city, as long as I've been alive.

We still have at least two more days of rain coming to us.

As I was gonna type how we are expecting storms in Kansas, our power went out! Pretty windy out there too! Sean was taking out one of the dogs when the rain came up and the dog decided that he didn't have to go that bad! LOL We are expecting thunderstorms all week. I hope it's nice where our daughter is going. She will be camping with some of the young women from our Church this week (this year she gets to be a Counselor since she has "graduated" high school). I would hate for them to get rained out!

We are over 5 inches for the month in a few days as well. Month's average is 3.7"

Fallen trees; 80 flooded basements in town. Tornados too close.

Sons boogie boarded in our YARD flood:)

Rained like crazy here in Kansas. We are already at flood stages. This won't be good probably, especially since we are expecting rain everyday but Tuesday. Oh well, I live high on an hill.

Hmm. Local jail is in danger of flooding. All the OHV parks are closed, which really pisses me off.

Straightline winds today. Really messed up my going to the bathroom! :animlol:

My town hardest hit in local area. May have had 7 inches in three days plus wind gusts that hit parts of town and downed mature trees all over the place.

Personally we had a river in my yard and a lake on the lower side. Kids loved it for boogie boarding down the gentle sloped river and in the lake between lightning storms and tornado warnings.

Sump pump going off literally every 10 to 15 seconds all night last night -- have the most powerful one available.

Our power went out last night, and so far there are 6 storm related deaths in MI.
