If that kid is on Hatteras Island I bet my pager goes off any second. We had an old lady just a few nights ago with a bug in her ear.

Hold Kleenex up to his nose and make him blow his nose. That's easy.

Call the Department of Corrections and tell them what happened. They can open the cells.

Nope, didn't work. Kids at that age don't seem to be able to blow hard enough. :wow:

Nope. That was the last resort. It was on a Saturday and the only personnel that were in the building were 911 operators. Some of the cells and almost all of the computer controls for them were yet to be completed.:faint:

Find a 6 year old and have him push the bead the rest of the way until it comes out his throat...After all, a 6 year old's finger should be twice as long as the 3 year olds, right?! :headscratch:
(How big is the bead?)

Chalk it up to a good 8 year run, go home and make another one!
Oh, and on your way out, let the jail folks know that they have a new inmate to feed!

Here is the answer for those of you that have a Son that is as, shall we say energetic, as mine.

My wife took him to the ER as it was early in the morning and I was at work. They charged our insurance a ton of money to have my wife plug his other nostril and blow in his mouth.
Can you amagin the mess when that kid had been crying and his nose running all that time. :puking:
It's a good thing they had her do it. That way she was practiced up for the NEXT TIME he did the same exact thing. :faint:
That's my brain surgeon.

This is the same Son. While I was looking at the, yet to be installed, control panel, the rest of the family was looking around the cell block.
We all heard the door close. I asked my wife if he just shut himself in, she replied "of course, he is your son." My first thought was that there is no way they would have them locked.
She checked. Wrong. I went over to the other guard booth to see if it was uncompleted as the one I was at. Luckily the electronics had already been installed.
I found the intercom, but couldn't figure out what combination of buttons actually opened the door. I was telling him that I was unlocking it and not to worry.
It took me a minute to figure it out, and just about when he started to panic, I got it.
Leave it to my Son to lock himself in jail. :faint:

Ummmm....wait? (do I have a Swiss Army knife?)
I guess there's a reason I don't have kids. My answers seem to vary a bit.
For #1 my first response was, "Stuff it all the way up into the sinus cavity. Use kid as rattle."
For #2 all I could think of was, "Good. Cost too much anyways. Bet he don't do that again."
Sounds like my youngest may be related to you. Ever spend any time in Alabama, say 8 and a half years ago?
