90 Degrees Out and Snowing!!

My son comes in a couple days ago and tells me I have to come look at the snow. Considering it was 90 outside I was a bit curious, but when I got outside sure enough it was actually snowing.....ashes! There is a wildland fire about 50 miles from where I live that is currently burning about 30,000 acres and the winds carried the ashes and the smoke all the way up to were we live. There was enough smoke that it actually looked foggy out.

As of today the smoke had reached as far away as Charlottesville, Va., which is about 250 miles from the fire.

Lived through that a few times and been in conditions like that many more times. Can be a very eery feeling.

Was in Hawaii earlier. It was 85 degrees but traveling up the mountain to the observatories one sees this:
