my 1911 threw an empty right back into my face. Yup, caught me just above the left eyebrow and left a nice half moon shaped scratch.
I can't blame the gun though. It was 100+ on the range and I was having a time getting a good grip on my gun. I think my poor grip is the reason I got whacked. My G19 was slicker than snot on a brass door knob. It got a good dose of grip tape added to it today.
It was qualification day for the SO. I felt sorry for the Deputies in their black uniforms I was shooting with. :wow:
Wear a basbeball cap. Bill forward like an adult. :hugs:
I got a SA, that will toss brass wherever it pleases. In my face, by my feet, 20 ft to the right....

Would ya believe I did, but the dang empty flew right back between the bill and my glasses. :dunno:
:wavey:
Jason. Mine is also a SA, and it throws brass somewhere in the general direction of my right. Most of the time, shooting outdoors, I can't find all of my brass.
With enough rounds you can see anything happen. Be for glad no brassiere catches. :alex:

... I can't find all of my brass.
Sorry for the unneeded advice, mi amigo.
My best moment was a having .44 magnum case ejected from a Desert Eagle slip down inside my shirt and nestle around my belly button. First time I ever disco danced.
i was reloading a magazine at an indoor range. i stepped back from my lane to watch my dad shoot while i was reloading...i caught a hot piece of .45 brass right inbetween my arm and belly. i had a perfect circle burn on my right arm.
<----told everyone it was ringworm:rofl::whistling:
That new DW 10mm throws em' over the county line.

Freshly ejected brass from an M60 found it's way between my flak jacket and the back of my neck.

Hope that's the GPMG and not the MBT...
Hot 105mm brass can be a bummer.

The S70 Gold Cup will drop them in a nice little pile at my feet. Both of my Kimbers do too.

Did anyone film it and put it on youtube?

This was long before film. :fred:
That hot case smarted so much I danged near dropped my drawers right on the spot. :scared:
NB: all fellow shooters who do not have a hot case lodged near a sensitive body part think it's funny when it happens to someone else. :tongueout:

No, wait, that was someone else ;)

Qual day at the Brownsville Border Patrol Station.
Shooting M4 prone next to Patrol Agent in Charge of Harlingen Station.
Me wearing Bike Patrol Uniform (White polo, green overshorts, Sexy black bike shorts)
He kept depositing his empties on my (naked) right calf.
I told him that, that while I found no fault with his shooting capabilities, I took some small exception to where he was placing his used brass...
