Many, many thanks to all who organized, administered and ran the match this year. It was simply outstanding. Great courses of fire, great props and the greatest R/Os in the game. In particular, I'd like to commend the efforts of our own GLIPSC crowd on stage 4. You all had what was probably the toughest stage to run with the steel, activators, window covers and many targets to score but what a great stage to shoot!! And you did it all under extreme conditions with the heat and humidity off the charts. Well done everyone.

It's now Sunday afternoon and I'm about to run back out to see how things finish up but regardless of the scores, it was a winner of a match!!!

Thanks again. Grady

Thanks on behalf of all my great team members who really worked well together and so many other people that helped contribute to our success.

It was a thrill to watch all the really good shooters shooting what many competitors said was best stages they have seen.

Working with some of the Grand Master shooters was a humbling experience.
It was a lot of fun and I leaned a lot just by watching. It was hot, hot, hot but as long as you stayed hydrated it was bearable. It was nice that all of the shooters seemed to be truly gratefull that we were working and most all thanked us. We did have a hell of a system going and I was happy our stage ran so well.

I have a link to a video of the stage that John, Leighann, Greg and myself were ROing. This is Cory Estill running the stage. I got it from his photo bucket page.

How many shooters were run through the match?

246 after DQ's and No Shows.

Picture gallery updated.

BB, I guess the 2011 gun went to the Limited or Limited 10 division shooter, where 2011 guns are shot.

JohnI could not have been associated with a better group of folks on Stage 4. You all worked like dogs and totally rocked! I'm proud to call each and every one of you my friend. We all made it fun regardless of the heat and humidity. I would say it was one of the most physically challenging events of my life. 3 13-hour days of fun, physical endurance and sun.... :faint:

Say, if anyone is intersted....
GLIPSC folks get together at Bluegrass Indoor Range every Thursday around 6pm. (In the summer, we do drop to every other week but are still weekly for now.) For those who would like to join in on the fun, come on down. We shoot a variety styles of one stage matches each week. From IPSC style to IDPA style to GSSF Style, you never know. You just need ear and eye protection, a holster, and a couple of mag pouches for mag changes. General round count winds up being around 25 for most matches, if you only want to shoot once. For $10, once everyone shoots the stage for score, you can reshoot it as many times as time and RO availability allows. Come on out and play. We'd love to see you there. :wavey:
