Looking for a barrel

Hi all,

I am looking for a .357 sig barrel to use in my M40.

I have searched the "net" all afternoon and have not come up with a thing.


Any suggestions?

Impulse Gun Barells of autria (aka IGB) makes after market barrels for steyrs. They also used to make the shoulder stocks and the rail mount adaptors for the original M series (both out of production and expensive when you can find them). Supposedly the owners helped Bubitts codesign the action on the M series.

I forgot the name of their US distibutor (a member here at GT and at www.steyrclub.com ) . It was a three letter abreviation also, started with a M (MDW, maybe).

the aftermarket barells are arguable as to wether they are drop in or light fitting required.

Also you can just call steyr and ask the parts dept how much for a barell.
