Hello,
I am moving to Tenn in a week to go to grad school at UT in Knoxville. I am from Texas where the gun laws are pretty relaxed. I don't have a CHL and was wondering what the laws were pertaining to carrying in a vehicle for shotguns, rifles, and handguns. Also wondering if there are any knife restrictions as I usually carry an Emerson CQC 7. I appreciate the help guys.

In general there is no legal way to carry a loaded long gun in your vehicle in TN. For a handgun you must have a permit. So with out a permit/license there is no legal way to carry a loaded firearm.

Knives must have a blade of 4" or less.
