Has anyone tried to work up some loads using the 130 grain .38 super pills that are out there? I know the one needs to use bullets with a short ogive for the .357 sig but many of the 130 grainers seem to have more bearing surface than, say, a similar round-nosed 115 grain bullet that is used for the 9mm. I guess I would like to see if anyone else had had any success before I test the waters myself.

cheers

I know that S&B loads a 130grain (or was it 147) in the 357 Sig. But, the main issue w/ the Sig round is the nose. Most of the rounds I see are loaded with flat nose bullets. It's been a while since I looked, but last I took a gander, there weren't that many flat nosed around.

i wouldn't reccomend super bullets, as they are bigger than 9mm (.355) which is what the 357sig was designed and is made for.

quite a few companies make a 124 grn RNFP, thats awfully close to 130. some even make 125's

kaliburz, like your line on the super, didn't the super come out before the magnum though? or atleast it was near the same time IIRC.

have shot the S&B they are 140 grain, good power, nice load, have shot federal 150 grain, they seem a little "lite" in the power department nowhere near as devistating as the lighter bullets.
