I don't know, but a couple of buddies over at bersatalk.com have them. Nice folks, and they always have an opinion.

I don't think so. In fact, I'm picking up DW's brand new Valor model this week. When I handled it, I was extremely impress with the overall quality of the gun. Granted, the Valor is $400-$500 more expensive.
However, I do own a CBOB that was purchased after the CZ tookover and its been great. They are priced in the same range as the PM7 and I think they are one of the best 1911s you can buy under a grand.
Here's my CBOB

How many rounds do you have through your CBOB and what is your opinion of the gun?

Actually, I don't have many through it, maybe 500 tops. I do like the gun quite a bit. It was a little tight during the first 100 rounds, but has since been perfect.
Dan Wesson makes some nice stuff. I just picked up their new top of the line Valor and have been very impressed with it.

Love my CBOB can't get an better for the price.
They are one of the best deals in the 1911 world.
I just picked up a C-Bob and a Razorback recently.
Couple of beefs, nothing major. The triggers are kinda sloppy in all 3 axes. More takeup than I like. And the beavertails aren't fitted quite right, There's a sharp edge along both sides, and the tabs that run underneath the tang stick out and are pretty sharp. I stoned the edges off them, but the safety still sits 'recessed' for lack of a better word.
Anyone know what other beavertail fits in the Ed Brown cut? Wondering if maybe it's the safety,
So far as I've been able to glean , they're still cast frames, but they're the cleanest castings I've ever seen. I'm really wondering if they didn't go forged somewhere along the way.
Any anyone know what mags the 10s ship with?

The COBO, PM7, and RZ are cast. The new Valor and 40 SS are forged, but more expensive.

My Dan Wesson 10MMs' came with Metalform Mags. They work well and I wish I had more, but I've got other for the range.

Wonder if either one will be available in 10mm
What can I say, it's a fetish.

My Kimber came with Metalforms, and I bought a bunch after the fact. The ones that came with the DW have different, folded metal, followers and a different number and alignment of holes. The cuts at the floorplate are a bit different, too.
Hmmm.... seems they're Checkmate 9 rounders...

I doubt it. Dan Wesson doesn't usually have many options on their models, if any.

CBob and Pointman come in 10 and .45... you trying to make me sad? Ya big meanie.
Besides, .40 to 10mm isn't at all hard, so I may be all good anyway.

True, but I think they were introduced that way.
Hey, ya never know. Hopefully, they sell well enough to warant it.
