View Full Version : What "CCW Friendly" states don't tax your pensions?
I'm a retired LEO and I am cosidering moving to another state. I currently reside in Florida which doesn't have a state income tax. Does anyone know what other CCW friendly states don't have state income taxes and don't tax pensions from other states? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Pennsylvania has state income tax but does not tax pension income.
Very retirement friendly.

Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Texas, Washington and Wyoming do not have state income tax. Pensions from other states should not be taxed in the state you reside if that state doesn't have an income tax.
JRP99, I added a little something to your title....
You'll fit in fine in Texas, but I'm not sure if we tax your pensions.

He can be "a retired LEO" and STILL need to rely on the state for CCW IF he fails to meet one or more of the various requirements in the wording of LEOSA.
Russp, I appreciate you adding that to the title of my post. Tks for all the info guys.

Even though I can carry under the LEOSA I still choose to carry with my CCW permit. Less hassles that way.

Also look for states with no sales tax.
