Does anyone use the clips that install on the side of Glocks to carry concealed inside the waistband? I don't remember who makes them, but they look like they work pretty well and might be more comfortable than a holster.

I dont mean to insult you but this is a dangerous way to carry a loaded gun. If there is a round in the chamber there needs to be 100% trigger protection

there are a few threads on here about them, do a search on clipdraw. I have one, I like it OK except that.....
1. I cannot carry a chambered round. (which I really never did anyway but the option to if you think you are walking into a situation is nice.)
2. The trigger guard snags on my waistband when I "reholster" it
I asked earlier about my options, including rounding the trigger guard and based on the replies and reading the threads I will be going back to the IWB holster I was using and chalking the $20 I spent on the clipdraw up to "lesson learned"
hope this helps, IMO don't buy it...

May be more comfortable but very dangerous. You need trigger protection when you are carrying a loaded firearm to prevent something from pulling the trigger.
Carrying a firearm which is not chambered is bad in my opinion, if you don't have time to rack the slide then you are in trouble.
The clip carry is just a bad idea, get yourself a good gun belt and holster made for the model you carry.
there are two main carry clips, out there. the Jentra and the clipdraw. they attach to the weapon two different ways.
the jentra appears to be pinned on through the existing holes in the weapon (above the trigger). while the clip draw is attached to the slide cover. i believe you get an aluminum slide cover w/the clipdraw that is already drilled and tapped.
if you look at the two, it appears as though the weapon would ride a little lower with one of them and the Jentra seems like it would rule out ever attaching CT laser grips
i have never used one, but looked at them hard for a long time as i rarely use holsters. finally, i just decided to put on a couple more pounds and now my belly holds the weapon securely in place.
as far as whether or not you're comfortable with a charged weapon down your pants, decide for yourself, don't automatically assume it's insanely dangerous because people who don't even carry that way tell you it is. don't assume it's safe because other people tell you it is. take the time and figure it out, then carry YOUR weapon how YOU feel appropriate.
I use a clip draw and like it very much. Very concealable. I DO NOT carry one in the chamber when using a clip draw. I practice with it at my range so that maybe I will still have the advantage if the need arises.

I don't think they are more comfortable. They are just easier. I have the clipdraw so yes it does ride a little lower, not much, but a little. I don't wear an undershirt so the pistol is pressed directly against my skin making it a bit less comfortable then a good leather IWB rig.
But like I said earlier, I do like the clip, but I will likely give it up.
IMHO.....for $20 try it, if you don't like it, it's not like you broke the bank.
