I bought a bunch of .223 military classic and my Stag AR build just didn't like it at all. Nothing but jamming while brass cased ammo shoots flawlessly out of it. One wolf shell got so stuck in the chamber that I got the cleaning rod stuck in the barrel trying to get it out, had to go to a gunsmith.
Called Wolf and they answered on the first ring. There customer rep was very polite and helpful. They sent me UPS labels the next day to ship back my ammo for either a refund or an exchange. I am going to send the ammo out tomorow and I'll wait and see. I am hoping they will send me a bunch of free goodies and maybe a generous amount of ammo, we'll see.
On a similar note, what is that Glock number you call to get free stuff??
just as a fyi if you didn't know, but its not the coating on the ammo. Its the steel casing because steel doesn't like to expand and so the burning powder likes to escape around the shell and leaves a bunch of carbon that jams the case in the chamber.
Also it short strokes because the gases escaping around the shell and not up the pipe above the barrel to recharge the carrier.
This is atleast what I think.

My Saiga 308 loves Wolf .308 Win.
Well, it is an AK-47 design...

My dad's bushie hates wolf. The casings come out all scratched to hell.
My Bushie doesn't care much for Wolf ammo either, but it was cheap and it fed 95% of the time. I'll never buy it again though...
I shot my LMT for the first time sunday, and after shooting about 60 rounds of brass cased, i shot about 130 rounds of wolf.
I had one failure to feed, and the casings were thrown in a completely different direction.
Fun nonetheless. :whistling:

I think the coating glues itself in the chamber. My 1911 will run two magazines through without problems from cold. Once the chamber heats up, the sticking in the chamber & fail to eject begins. Wolf works in guns with robust extractors (like commie guns...) that manhandle the shell out whether it wants to go or not....

My S&W digests it just fine. :whistling:
I just make sure to shoot some brass cased thru it every couple hundred rounds to clean out any buildup of carbon.

I know the main culprit is the steel casing. My DPMS shoots wolf OK, but my Stag and RRA just wont shoot it at all. I have had short stroking, failure to feed, failure to fire, broken shells stuck in chamber, all in my ARs. I have 3 SKS rifles, 2 AKs, 2 shotguns, and a variety of pistols that all shoot Wolf fine. I'll tell you though, I am done with all cheap steel cased ammo.

I have a Stag AR and I shoot wolf ammo. It's really odd how some guns do and some guns don't.
I did get one stuck in the barrel (got it out with the rod) however that was when the gun was really hot after 3-400 rounds that hour. I think the coating on the steel cases gets sticky when hot.
I hope your customer service reps turn out to be helpful.
