I have read dozens of GT threads and perused the web pages of countless makers. They are all starting to look the same to me...what I need is the opinions of real people carrying like I do....
I am going to take the advice of the group here and ditch the Clipdraw. I don't really want to go back to my old Uncle Mikes clip-on IWB holster, it really doesnt fit the gun that well.
I am 5'9" wiegh 235, 38 inch waist. I carry a stock G26. I am right handed and carry SS IWB.
Can anyone give me ideas based on their experience?

well I know most of you are sick of the topic...I am leaning towards the C-Tac slide model. Looks to be the best choice.

I prefer the CTAC holster that is not the slide.
Get an MTAC. Have one for the 27, and I love it.

MTAC is awesome to.
Tomorrow I will have a chance to use a MTAC for my glock 26. I will have pictures and a video comparison of them very shortly if you want to wait :wavey:

In no particular order:
Comp-Tac: CTAC or MTAC
Sidearmor: Classic IWB (carried the 26 for over 5 years in the same holster, very rugged).

Thanks, I will wait. Would like to see one in use before making the $80 purchase.

my thinnking was the slide would allow me to carry the 17 too if I wished. But I guess I never really would anyway. Thanks I appreciate the feedback!

Comp Tac Infidel or Galco USA which is tuckable. Both are great.

I carry my G26 in a Milt Sparks Watch-Six. Love it. I'm thinking of getting the Galco USA for tuckable situations.

I use the RM Holster Works "Low Rider" for IWB and Fobus Paddle for OWB.
I like the comfort and balance on both for my G26.

I have about 6 holsters, the one I use the most is my Mitch Rosen Workman.
It is comfy, and you can slide it a bit on your belt to make it fit when you are seated on the car.

I went with the CTAC slide. I just got it last week and I'm sorry I waited. I was happy with my old set up by just gave it a go to see if the hype was real. Well, it sure is. I passed on the MTAC because I wanted something I could sweat all over in the summer months. I can put all my glock 9's in that holster and I'm thrilled with it.

I'm extremely happy with my MTAC slide. With the leather backing, the full length of the gun's slide is resting against leather and not your leg, whether you carry a G26 or a G34.
And, I don't know how you're built, but, if you've got a bit extra around the middle like me, you'll appreciate how comfortable the MTAC is compared to the CTAC.

I use either a Blade-Tech IWB or a Raven Concealment. Both are comfortable and work well for me.

Comp-tac CTAC or Comp-tac MTAC or a Milt Sparks Watch-Six or a Milt Sparks VMII.
The CTAC slide fits flush with the bottom of a G26, so it would be a fine choice as well.
My wife prefers the Watch-Six to any other holster with a G26, as do I with a G19. CTAC with the clips reversed is more concealable though if you prefer Polo's to dress shirts. But that's only a concern if you carry around 3:30.

If price is a consideration, you might want to check out the Comp-Tac Spartan. It's very similar to the M-Tac, but doesn't have the leather inner backing. Add an inexpensive layer of moleskin to cover the hardware, and you end up with a nice holster that's comfy, less expensive, and a bit thinner than the M-Tac.
And get the slide version. You never know when you might want to carry your larger Glocks. What happens if the smaller ones are in need of repair?

Another Mtac Slide user here. I got it for a G19, but I have found that a G26 fits nicely as well.

I like the comfort and balance on both for my G26..................I have gone to the RM LOWRIDER, with my g27 almost all thre time, ive been carrying a gun 35 plus yrs, and this holster fits my needs better then the 25 or 30 holsters i have in the closet, fast on and off, fast draw, very light and u forget u have it on, sometimes i pocket carry but i really like the lowrider, had mine made a little higher, for gripping, but thats just me....another thing u can wear it wo a belt..:wavey::wavey:
Another vote for the RM Holsters Low Rider IWB. It is a great rig that conceals very well.

M-tac.....that's how I carry my G27, G26 and G19. Crossbreed also good.
another vote for the RM Lowrider. simple, rugged, conceals very well.
Mine is great. almost unnoticeable. Reasonable retention.Bought for the G26, also fits the most recently purchased G19. LIFETIME warranty. Trial period. Excellent customer service. Great quality. Great price. If you don't like it, send it back after you try it.
I don't have a box of holsters.

Tucker Cover-Up.
I use it all of the time. You can tuck in a shirt with it for dress clothes and office attire.
I CCW everyday all day long.
