Would like to hear some reviews on it. I have a chance to pick one up and I know nothing about the high end 1911's. Thanks in advance

I have a stainless full size that I use for a ccw, and I absolutely love it. I don't think it really qualifies as a "high" end 1911, but i would put it up against any factory offering, including TRPs and the like. The fit of the frame to slide and slide to barrel are as good as it gets with zero movement. Mine is as accurate as you make it, and has had zero reliability issues using a variety of JHPs including Gold Dots, XTPs, Golden Sabres, and TAP.
Don't let people put you off with comment like "It's not a REAL Wilson" or "Only steel guns are true 1911s". Extra mags are also brought up as an issue, but they are availabel for $40, which is only $5 more than Wilson sells their new ETMs for. And definitely don't let people tell you the same thing can be had for less money from Kimber or BUL. Those frames are different than the ones Wilson uses. They are designed around high cap 14 round mags and have a different feel. Plus, I've seen examples of both, and the fit and finish doesn't begin to compare to the KZ. I say go for it, I'll bet you will be pleased!
I have owned a 5" KZ-45 for 4 or 5 years. It is my favorite of my 5 1911s. You should try one before you buy as the grip is a little more "boxy" in feel than a single stack 1911, but certainly not the brick feel of a Glock or Para. I shot a couple IDPA matches about 3 years ago with mine and did just fine.

I have one in 9mm. Trigger and general feel are on par with other Wilson products.

I just bought one. The top half is a lot like my CQB, except with an external extractor. BTW, the Wilson external extractor works, like the S&W external extractor, but not like the problematic Kimber external extractor. Anyway, I think there is a little more felt recoil given the reduced weight of the polymer frame, but other than that, it is a good gun for the price.
From what I've seen the KZ-45 is a normal Wilson slide with a polymer frame. What surprises me is it is heavier empty than an aluminum framed 1911 of similar size. Regardless, maybe in the future I'll consider one.
