good price, shipping is pretty expensive
I buy this almost exclusively for practice, in 9 mm and .45 ACP.
If you don't reload, the aircraft aluminum cases are perfectly fine for 1X use, and unlike steel cases, won't chip your ejector.
Reloaders will well you, the brass is the most expensive component; so if you don't reload, why buy it to throw it away?
Natchez is a good outfit, with good service!

Wow! They've got great prices (considering the recent price hike) on Glock mags...I just put a 33rd 9mm mag in my shopping cart. I will probably order from Natchez within the next couple days.

Thats how the compensate for the price of the ammo.

What is considered expensive shipping. 500 rounds of 9mm brass was $15. Is that expensive?

At $16 per 100 rounds (aluminum), 500 rounds is $80 + $15 shipping. That comes out to be about 19 cents per round. Most Walmarts have WWB for $18.42/100, or 18.42 cents per round. In the end, Walmart usually ends up being slightly cheaper for most people. In addition, WWB brass is reloadable so you can sell it...
The best deals around my area used to be Bass Pro's big sale they had once or twice a year where they marked down their 100 WWB prices considerably. I should have bought about 10k rounds last year when it was $12.99/100... :crying:

Truly, thats why when I find deals on ammo I usually buy it then and their. This past weekend at the local city flea market I found a vendor selling Springfield XD .45 mags, the 13 round versions, for 7 bucks a piece and they appeared never fired. After purchasing those, I asked him if he had any more deals, and low and behold, he had 2 cases of Samson 230gr fmj-tc .45 auto ammo for 50 bucks a case. SOLD TO ME LOL.
Also, every so often, I'll catch an add in Dicks sports on Sundays where they are selling Remington .45 for 15.61 a box and 9mm for 14.44 a box.
Ammo these days is like gas, gotta be the consumate hunter of deals.
