View Full Version : G19 is boring

I got a G19 a little over a month ago and have shot a tad over 900 rounds from it of various brands and weights of ammo. When I shoot Winchester or Federal M882 ball it hits even the smallest of targets with ease.
I put a 3.5 connector and maritime cups in it and the trigger has just a little bit heavier break to it than my CZ-75 9mm does with alot more accuracy. Infact this is the most accurate 9mm carry pistol I have ever owned. Right now I have Black Hills 124 grain +P Hornady XTP ammo in it that is unreal accurate.
FWIW I used to own a G17L and a G26 and put almost 200,000 rounds through the two shooting pins over 8 or so years and got on a SIG kick. I have come back and I am glad. I can shoot this G19 better than my 17L used to  . Dunno why but this little pistol is a gem.
I might go to the range tomorrow and I guess I will just have to deal with the boredom of its perfection...............

I agree but I also find boring can be good.
Anyone mention a 17L

Legion 3,
In your pics, the 2nd Gen. 19 kind of looks better than the 3rd Gen. I want one bad.
Nice photo.

GLOCKs boring! Blasphemy! :steamed:
But, it's true. Mine gave me no problems at the range today. As usual.
GEN 2 FTW

Yes I like the 2nd Gen Glocks better. The 3rd gen was too good of a deal to pass on and my wife likes the fingergrooves... so this is currently her gun. All my 2nd gen G19's I got as close to new as I could find.
I also have a 3rd gen G17 (which was also a great deal) but I also have a 2nd gen G17 too.
And you see the age of my 17L.
I swap out the 3rd gen G17 frame and the 17L upper and make my night time gun
