I need help finding a holster for my G19 with my x200 attached. I don't always wear a belt, typically athletic shorts so just a plain jane clip. I've got the Blade-Tech owb SRB/paddle, but the paddle doesn't really concel well for my build.
-iwb (if you know a good owb, I'm all ears!)
-regular clip
-kydex/leather doesn't really matter
-has to have a round in the chamber, I'm only familiar with Clip Draw and Ghost Inc's GI Stealth clip holster
Any ideas anyone? Thanks!

I need to know as well. I wouldn't feel comfortable with a round in the chamber using clipdraw though. I have a light on the way, and no holster to fit my 19 when it arrives. Not sure how often I will carry with the light but I am interested to see what is out there.
Safariland has a composite owb holster that will accommodate the G19/SureFire X200 combo. I bought mine from MidwayUSA. Here is the link:

Where to start....... You need a proper gunbelt to support a firearm. Clips don't get it. I won't address why you'd need a weapon mounted light for ccw, but I will tell you that carrying a gun with a light attached inside your pants is comical. If you really feel you need IWB, go for it, but get an OWB holster for light-mounted carry, and don't expect it to conceal well. A safarilad 6280 or variant may work for you, but it's not something you'd want to carry for ccw.

I found one site that offered leather holsters for a tac-light and for some reason I did not save it in favorites!
Anyway what I found was a Bianchi. Good holsters anyway and it held a tac-light.

Bladetech makes IWBs for guns with a tac light attached. Call them if you don't see your tac light listed on their website.

iwb with tek-lok from blade-tech looks promising. I'm just seeing what the best concealment options are outhere for a weaponlight mounted Glock. I do have a good gunbelt but summer is here and I don't always find myself wearing something that permits a belt.

I went the route of 19 carried IWB (mtac), and x300 carried in a weakside pocket.

RAVEN CONCEALMENT!!!!- OUTSTANDING!
I already own their wonderful Phantom holster. THE BEST concealed holster ever, owb. I've got some pudge to me and this thing is purely amazing! I think I am now going to order their tuckable overhooks for an iwb. Thanks to everyone and special thanks to jeri534 for reminding me of Raven Cocnealment System's wonderful products.

I looked at their site. Can you give me a link to the Glock + light carrier holsters?

Please cite reasons as to why anyone would want to CCW a gun with a light attached. You are not a member of an entry team and you are not impressing anyone.

Why IWB with a light?
I carry a flashlight with me if I want light :) I want and use my light quite often. I'd hate to need to carry 2 lights or never be able to use it without drawing my gun.
It's going to be the most uncomfortable type of carrying as well.

Thanks! :wavey:
PS (not to hi-jack the thread) but anyone think that a threaded barrel would fit in with the tac-light holster... if I got a G22 holster for my G23? Or maybe I get it and cut the end out a little? :dunno:

How presumptuous -- where do you get the impression that the OP is trying to impress anybody.
Maybe difficulty holding a light away from the body.
Maybe for ease opening doors or other tasks requiring a hand.
Maybe more comfortable with a normal 2-handed grip.
Maybe carries another light off the gun as well.
Maybe is well aware of tactical pros/cons of a gun mounted light, and could care less if you or anybody else is impressed.

Some holsters I have look to allow that. My Blade-Tech I bought for my G19 with my x200, but I've found that a G22 witht he light works in it as well as it leaves the muzzle open.

Maybe the OP should respond and NOT you?
Presumptuous - Hardly. I've been associated with a lot of professional "shooters" and I can tell you nobody carries a gun mounted light, only wannabees. Just how many room clearing situations do you run into in everyday life?

yep, sorry, I'm a wannabee. man that was helluva lot easier than I had thought...
Comp-tac makes an IWB tuckable that can use a X200.

Is the X200 the same size as the X300?
^The X300 is a slightly different shape on the nose, so I don't know if it would work. The OP was looking for X200 though.

Wow... Only "wannabees" carry lights on their defensive handguns? Thanks for clearing that up for me. I don't personally carry one because I don't need the bulk in my CCW rig, but I'll pass that on to one of the guys on the drug interdiction team. Apparently, they didn't all get the memo that only "wannabees" carry them. Then again, I imagine he like it because, in Kydex, it makes such an excellent *SNAP* when it holsters. :tongueout: That way he can impress people.
I don't see why you need to be so rude to someone that came on here to ask a question. But, truly, it's nice to have someone like you on here. It's a real honor to have an associate of some professional shooters here to speak on their behalf.
How many room clearing situations? For me? Twice in the last two months.
But, I will ask the question, too. Are you out a lot at night, or what is the reason you want a tuckable holster for a glock w/ light? Just curious.
And, to the OP, no, I'm not sure of a good recommendation for this holster choice. Sorry! :) I just wanted to interject because I don't care for seeing someone being rude to others.

Sorry to go further off course here but I am waiting on a TLR-1 in the mail. I have heard all of the arguments against a weapon mounted light, and I don't intend to carry mine CCW. My light will be for the house, for the things that go bump in the night. I also understand the arguments for a seperate light (of which I have many, one in each of my trucks, one in my car, and one a few in the house). I feel for me personally that I am better off with both hands on my weapon if I need it. I have heard it said that one problem with a weapon mounted light is that you don't always want to point your gun at the thing you want to illuminate. Well I am well aware of the people that belong in my home, and so if I one day scare the heck out of a neighborhood cat I can live with that.

Any activity where you are out at night and may only have use of one hand for both a light and a gun. Walking the dog, carrying your small child or pushing a stroller, one arm might be immobilized (I had my left arm in a sling for over two months, three times in my life), and other handicaps (like a veteran or someone else who may have lost an arm or a hand) are all very good reasons to carry a weapon mounted light.

I asked the question to the OP and he evidently doesn't want to answer.
I could care less what you think of me or my experience/associations. I stand by my statement. I wish your buddy on the DIT Good Luck (and anyone else who wants to CCW a gun mounted light). Notice - I did not say "use" a gun mounted light.

I personally carry my G23 with my TLR-1 on it at all times and have been doing so since I began carrying around December. I'm a grad student, and I'm a night owl, so I like the extra feeling of protection knowing that I have a weapon-mounted light if I need it. If you're curious about what it looks like, I posted a bunch of pictures of my rig:

This is OWB Sidearmour that specifically for Glocks with the X200 weapon light.

SORRY!!!! my internet has been down and i've been using my friend's laptop for the past week. and there is no way i'm gonna look up gun stuff on her computer...
but here's my reason: I do see myself out at night alot and figure since I've got one, I might as well fight with one. And I'm not on some entry team splitting wigs or whatnot, I acquired this weaponlight and it works wonders- holding a flashlight in my other hand just ins't as practical for me than having both hands on my gun. I do practice shooting one-hand though, but not a heck of a lot of confidence. Having a weapon mounted light enables me to have that stability and confidence using both hands on the weapon in a fight.
I had to dig through the pages of threads to find this one, sorry everybody and sorry smoke for seeming like I was hurt by your criticism. And thanks everybody for your replies. Good suggestions btw!
