Video in proper 4:3 ratio uploaded.
Sorry it took a couple days longer then I said it was going to. Here is my comparison of the CTAC and the MTAC holster. Hopefully this will help some people out. :wavey:
Big thanks to Stoogie Stang for letting me borrow his holster and switch his tab settings!

I figured out how to put a title in it. I had this neat water ripple effect, but it went away after I added the title.
This was quickly thrown together since Stoogie was getting ready to head home.

CTAC is slightly better for concealment. MTAC is more comfortable. I totally agree.
But the camera is a bit low when you're wearing the MTAC. I'm just being nice. It's actually just plain too darn low. :)
MTAC and CTAC are about the same as far as concealment from my experience. The MTAC is more comfortable and the firearm carries more naturally.
I personally love the MTAC.

I just found the problem with the video. It chopped it to make it 16:9. I'm re-uploading it in 4:3 format so you can see everything. Please bear with me about 20 minutes or so everyone.
New video is uploaded in the proper 4:3 so it's not chopped anymore.
Great video, I'm considering both of these holsters. As I am pretty thin I think the CTAC would be the best choice for me.
In regards to the CTAC, are the rivets/screws near the bottom of the holster in an area where they kept off of the skin directly by boxer briefs? It looks like they are but I've never seen one in person.

They are off the skin for most people. Ok anyone who wears underwear.
But if you wore some very strange clothes or they somehow got bunched up it's possible for metal to skin contact, but very unlikely under any conditions I can think of. They do not bother me one bit.

Ok thanks for the info. It looked like it would be fine to me but just making sure. When I save up for a 26 I will most likely be ordering a CTAC as well.

Excellent job passive!
Sporting a goatee I see! lol haha
I'm planing on carrying a full size 1911 soon and I'm only 5'5" and 160lbs so a Ctac is probably the one i will go with...

I carry a 1911 with the MTAC. I find that the MTAC has the gun fit closer to your body. Something to consider.

I saw no difference in how close it was to the body as body can be snugged so tightly that then leave imprints on your body. The Kydex and leather is rigid enough to really shove the grip into your side.
But all bodies will be different. If the CTAC doesn't fit your body there the MTAC will mold better to your body and be more comfortable.

I've been using the MTAC for the last 6 months and love it. I am 6'1" and 180# have no problem with printing as long as the shirt is loose. Great customer service at Comp-Tac is another plus. You may even get some smarties with your order.

I'm glad you said you're getting a new belt. The duct tape has got to go. :uglylol:
Currently in the martket for a IWB for my G23. Can't decide between the two. Was thinking about the MTAC but heard that some have a hard time concealing the G23.

Another fantastic video...I was actually going to get an MTac but after this vid, think I'll go with a CTac. Anyone carry a G30 in either one that would like to add some input?

Oops sorry about that everyone. I didn't put it in the video but both work just fine tucked in as the clips.
However once again for tucking the props went to the CTAC since it can sit much lower or the same height making the blouse of the shirt naturally go around it better IMO.

I always use a thicker button down when tucking; ripstop, thick cotton, etc. The shirts will also 'blouse' since I have broad shoulders.
I'm thinking the MTAC would be best for comfort sakes, since both will hide fine.

Yeah for IWB under your arms being in shape enough so you don't have fat rolls or so fat that it engulfs the firearm are huge benefits.
I have found that being somewhat fat or slightly out of shape where you have love handles pushes the firearm out to the sides if you are a male. not sure on a female body.

I'm not a women, but I have a bit of "love" handles. The good thing is the my chest width is larger than my slight handles. Working on losing them though.
For some reason behind the hip IWB will not work for me.
