Does anyone use the lube that is always included in orders shipped out by Larue Tactical? It is brown and comes marked as "machine gunner's lube"Every since I made my first order from that store, I have been using the free lube and I have come to like it! just curious if anyone uses it or knows anything about it!
What is 'machine gunner's lube'?

I'm assuming he's talking about LSA, but......kind of vague.

Sorry to be so vague, but if I new any more I would tell you. The stuff comes in a tiny black bottle with a black label that says "machine gunner's lube" ...and thats it. Im going to call them tomorrow to ask about it. I like it very much and would like to get more.

Could be...I couldn't think of the designation, was having a brain fart...

It is a moly lube in a colloid suspension:headscratch: .
WTF is that? It is just a moly lube that does not need to be "shake well before use"............
Moly lube is a pain to clean off if you ever want to use anything else. It also does not mix well with other lubes..............

Sewing machine oil does the same thing. I use Walley's rapid fire lubricant. It is very light and extremely slick.

"...comes marked as "machine gunner's lube"
To be serious.........Can tell you word for word what a S&W Factory 'Smith related @ a Demo Day: Mentioned two former employees left to work Military Contract testing for FN {USA}. Only lube they found that would stay on the auto weapons tested "to destruction" was Mil-Comm's TW25B grease.

$75.00 for four earth brown painted GI M16 mags. I painted mine the same color a month ago. So then From what he is selling them for I should just sell my $70.00 worth of mags for $150.00 and get more mags, I still have 75% of the can left to repaint mags if I have to.
I hope the guy painting them out back of his shop gets paid good because that man is making alot of money from koolaid drinkers...............

I usually stay clear of these threads but I have to respond to this.
If you need a mount that is basically bombproof and has no issues maintaining zero even after 100's of removals then LaRue is the only answer.PERIOD. I have gone through a bunch of ARMS stuff and it didn't hold up for me. Everyone who i know who needs this capability(there lives depend on the gear they run) run LaRue gear
As for price do you have any idea what the costs are associated with running the type of shop Mark LaRue runs.
Sure i could buy a bushmaster instead of a LMT or COLT but i buy quality gear the first time around, usually if you buy qulaity gear in the long run you end up saving money.
As to the original question, I use Machine Gunners Lube. I find it to be superior to breakfree CLP. I have heard good things about Slip 2000EWL but havent tried it yet.

thanks Sig228...at least someone on this thread knows whats going on. Make your own opinions folks, but LaRue is a pleasure to do business with and many of his specialty products are second-to-none.
