glock slide

so i have seen a few pictures of various glocks with the lettering on the slide painted either white or yellow. heres an example of one i found on google with the white glock logo.

i have never actually seen one in person like this so i take it that this is not something done in the factory? if not how do you go about doing it? thanks for the help

Do a search, it's on here somewhere. Most are done with nail polish or acrylic paint, some use crayons. Lots of ways to do it.

But since that slide in the pic is custom. I'd say they used paint. Maybe reduced model paint.
