I asked the local gun store to call me when a G30SF came in. That was about three months ago. They called on Sat. to tell me it was here. I went in to check it out and it feels good but they're asking $699.99 with factory night sites. I guess it's a supply and demand thing but the price seems a little high. What do you guys think? I'm thinking of just waiting until the demand dies down a bit then maybe the price should come down some.

699? That's $757.74 with uncle sams cut.
Damn....I'd tell that shop to stick it up their house cat.
Here's one with no tax at $619. free ship. Plus whatever your dealer wants for a transfer. The dealers around here do it for $20bucks.

They had two in at a local shop this weekend, both with GLOCK night sights, for $566.
The man that I talked to said they couldn't keep them on the shelves. I suggested they have a sale on the G21 and G30 because they haven't been selling well since the SFs came out. He agreed that they probably should. I'm hoping they will.

I went in and decided against the 30SF for now but did walk out with a pre-owned DPMS Panther LR-308 carbine with a quad rail and an Eotech 512 already mounted. I figured the Glock can always be found be the rifle was to good to pass up.

I'd say thats about 100 dollars too expensive, but I'm looking at your location and it says Hawaii. Hell, I had no idea they even let anyone own a gun in Hawaii? Perhaps that is a good Hawaiian price or something? :dunno:

Visited my parents in Michigan for this 4th July holiday and my dad and I went to check out the local gun shop and they had the g30SF for $580. I didn't have no money and wanted to buy it but then again I live in a different state so I doubt they would have let me buy it.
I can't remember but I'm pretty sure it was Fixed Sites and Glock rail on it and they said it was a brand new gun, they just took it out to put it in display.

Can you get more for that cost? Is it with Glock Night sights? If so I have a FFL just waiting to receive one!

That was my dealer cost with Glock Nigh Sights. I need to mark up the gun to make a profit plus the cost to ship it to your FFL so it may be best to buy in your state but email me if you want a quote. vermontgunbroker@yahoo.com

I go to target sports and there 580 there. They have a good stock of every model and custom one also, like chrome slide, chrome barrel. If your a leo or attorney, judge, paramedic, military and vets, firefighters even volunteers you get the discount and it's 485 for the .45gap, .45acp, and 10mm. The competition's are 515, and everything else is 430.

Sweet mother. And I thught shops around here hike Glock prices. I see them for $559-600 and think that's high. Have an FFL transfer you one from Topglock and save yourself some serious coin that can be used on hoslters, ammo and training.
I am a little confused about the prices being thrown around. The 520-550 prices, are those with NS? If so, that is an outstanding buy. The Blue Label models sell for 464 with regular FS, then add about 60 for the Glock NS, 79 for Trijicons. That winds up being about 524-543 before taxes and shipping. The Blue Label is considered to be THE best price available to anyone. How can the regular Glocks be sold so cheap?

The Glock Model 30SF has a shorter front to back grip than the Model 30.
For people with medium to small hands, the SF makes the Glock feel less fat.

I paid $555 nib with fs from someone here on the board. I was happy to pay it, I had already decided I wanted it, and I couldn't find one anywhere at the time. I told myself that the next one I saw I was going to jump on and I don't regret it a bit.
Bought a LNIB one from a private party for $450.00. It only had 20 rounds through it when I got it. And I got a new leather Don Hume IWB holster with it too.

spend 35$ for a GSSF membership and get one for about 485$

I think the rifling in the G30SF is new in design from the rifling in the G30. Is this true and why did Glock change it?

I like the 21SF grip a lot even though the old 21 fit me just fine. The 30SF grip is actually too small for me.

I purchased a G30SF - no night sites - a week ago for $527 plus tax. I am more accurate with my new 30SF version versus my G30. And, I thought my G30 was perfect.:wow:
