It is an FN SLP Mark 1 and from all that I have read they are really sweet :)
I sure hope so at least LOL Thinking about putting my Eotech on it although I really do not know why as rifle sights on a shotgun is plenty IMHO.
I wish they were tritium instead of a silly fragile fiber optic though

Wholesale price is $808 I can tell ya that Eddie. But I did some horse trading and got this one for the cost of an old Rem. 870 express and a old S&W revolver model 15- something :)

The Doves were no match for mine with an EOTech this past season.
It looks very similar to a Moss 930 SPX except for the safety & rear sight. What is the price difference?

Just got back from the range :) And finally broke this thing in. All I can say is WOW this has to be the fastest semi-auto I have ever fired. And with the right ammo groups very well. I took a broad range of ammo that had been laying around here for years and it ate every piece of it. There was one failure to feed with one old high brass birdshot but it shot everything else flawlessly. Low brass economy stuff and buckshot as well as slugs.
The one buckshot it really liked was a Federal reduced recoil with Flite-control wad. It managed about a 1 foot pattern @ 25 yards. The old Winchester cheap buckshot was about a 2 foot pattern @ 25 yards with a very noticeable doughnut effect going on.
So I reckon I will just buy some Federal ammo for it and be happy :)
All that said I was very pleased with this new shotgun and will have no problems using it for home defence as well as anything else I want to.
Can that be had w/ a pistol grip?? Or is that a no no w/ a semi w/ over 5 rounds? Or was that part of the AWB? The last thing on my list is a Shotgun and I am just about there.

As far as I know it can not be bought with a pistol grip. But you sure can modify a Rem. 870 stock to fit this thing. http://fnforum.net/viewtopic.php?t=8747 I am just waiting for my Speedfeed to arrive I took the rear stock off allready and it is not that hard of a modification at all and requires no modification to the gun at all either. So you could return it back to its factory new condition at any time.
I see you liked my ammo?
Nice shotgun, bro.

Yep it actually was one you gave me :) I have been saving them after firing only one of them and finding them to work very well in my 870 as well. But alas I am down to 3 now and this thing holds 9 So off in search of more ammo I am. :)
Having a good 4th Norman ? I hope so
