The range I go to makes us use there ammo. The only factory loads they have are called magtech 180 grain. I was wondering if these were okay to use. I have a Glock 22. They feel real smoothe and I like the recoil pattern of them. I usually use Remington UMC loads but I notice they feel like explosions in my gun and make a mess compared to the Magtech.
Magtech ammo is a quality ammo for range use.
It is among the more popular and common brands used for range shooting.
My range makes you use their ammo only when renting their guns.
I wouldn't go to a range that made me buy their over priced ammo.

I would go to another range.
How much markup is there for the ammo you buy at the range? A box of 9mm at the local indoor range here is about $11/50, and is probably lower quality (Independence, American Ammunition, etc) than the WWB I get at walmart.

It costs 15.00 for a box of 50. 20.00 will get me a box of 100 reloads junk ammo. My friend uses that on his Walther P99 .40 AS. I tell him about reloads but he thinks he knows best. His gun stovepipes at least once per mag (12).
