Does anybody have any feedback on the Mossberg silver reserve field o/u in 12g.I have been looking for a nice over under but cant squeeze out $1500 for one.Thoughts or opinions?

When I bought mine 2 years ago they were not that much. Shop around. By the way love my gun. I shoot international trap with guys whose guns cost 4 times that amount.

I've had one for about a year and a half. It's a good entry level or field gun. It's not as nice or as fancy as a Browning or a European gun, but it'll get the job done. Plus, you won't feel as bad scratching or dinging a $500 Mossberg.
One thing to remember on the Mossbergs is they have extractors, not ejectors. So you have to pull the empty shells out by hand.

Thats just the thing,i dont want a pricy gun that i would be too scared to take out and hunt with. I dont mind the shells,that just means i dont have to bend down and pick up my spent shells.Thanks for the info guys.:wavey:
