Pick any firearm and tell us the one thing that you would change about it to better suit you, or how much you would have to change to make it your "ideal firearm", caliber, size finish action etc. For instance, I would like to pick up a sig 232 soon. I wish they made one chambered in 9x19. Should be fun to see what everybody says.

Smith & Wesson Model 22 Classic, 45ACP.
Take the damn internal lock off. :steamed:
That my Kel-Tec Sub9 (the earlier all-metal version of the Sub2000) came in 7.62x25, and could take the hot Czech ammo that the CZ52 does.

JLD Enterprise guns.
Get rid of the navy lowere and give me back my metal.:steamed:
Put the handgrip from the hk p30 on a glock 23 and I would be happy

free ammo for my G26.
of course, a single stack GLOCK in 9mm, that would hold AT LEAST 9 rounds.

I want a Sig 556 Commando, but chambered in 6.8 SPC.
Take those dxxmed cross-bolt safeties off my lever rifles. I learned, as a kid, how to safely lower the hammer on a loaded chamber, and bring it to half cock......this is something anyone can learn to do in about 15 seconds, but Marlin and Winchester seem to think "lawyer safeties" are the answer to improper use/instruction.

if you could change one thing ??
It would be America's immigrtion policy....or LACK THEREOF!!!!
As for guns....
I would choose the Glock 27. I think it needs to be a single stack with a THINNER grip and slide!!!
Production 1911s come with polished feed ramps, Wolff springs, tuned extractors, and with 8rd Wilson mags.

The last gun I bought came in tupperware. I wish it would have come in a cardboard box.

Third-Gen S&W's 10mm and 45ACP in double stacks.

Call me crazy, but if we can land a man on the moon back in the '60s, I think we can have gun manufactures make guns with smooth trigger pull from the box. 14lb double action should be a thing of the past. Single action with tons of creep and rough, shouldn't be.
I understand companies not lowering the weight due to potential lawsuits, but at least give a smooth trigger out of the box that will not cost us an arm and a leg.

If I could change one thing. It would be the -P 9mm ammo we are forced to use. Original spec 9x19mm is 123 grains at 1325 fps. By original I mean original German specs. Or we could just load 9mm to CIP specs of 39200 psi and do away with the misleading +P and +P+ nomenclatures that are nothing but -P loads still.................
Viht has loads in their manual that launches 115s at 1500 fps and stay within safe original specs for psi, go figure that one out............

Nice Marlins, Hogship. Especially that 39.
Don't know what's up with that carbine in the middle, though.
Seriously, I'll buy an old beater any day over a new production levergun with that silly crossbolt. In fact, I have. Not that my opinion matters to Marlin.
Safeties, locks, and triggers sprung by Massey Ferguson are a shameful reminder of how things have gotten out of hand around here. Whatever happened to personal responsibility?
Change Glock grip angle to a "1911 like" angle. Or offer Glocks with interchangible back strap.
A Sig with GLOCK's finish!
-or-
A GLOCK with Sig's T.D.A. trigger (N.M. Sig ergos)!

Third-Gen S&W's 10mm and 45ACP in double stacks.
Or at least reintroduce the 1006 and 1066 as they were. They're doing it with revolvers, why not their autos?
I'd be first in line for a 1066.

Handguns: Someone with money to burn to buy the machinery and start offering the Grizzly again. But one of the chamberings needs to be .44 Automag.
Long Guns: Ruger to make a "mini" Mini-30 in .30 Carbine
I'd give a company like kel tec the magical power of building quality firearms.
Seriously, I like a lot of their ideas but every one I've seen has been a cheap piece of crap. The last sub 9mm glock I held visibly separated the plastic halves at the pistol grip when inserting or releasing a magazine because it just wasn't held together except by a screw way up there.
Come on now.

That Crimson Trace would put an on-off switch on the Glock models. Other than that I have absolutely no complaints other than not enough ammo. :D

+1...and it wouldn't be too hard and would fix the problems that tend to occur most often.

That Glocks would have an ever-so-slightly thinner grip so that I might at least consider purchasing one... Same with the S&W alloy/steel framed autos.
They just don't "Feel right" in my hands due to their girth.

Give my 642 the 7 round wheel that the 242 has.
