Can anyone tell me when my model 19-5 Serial # ACBxxxx was manufactured?

According to the SCSW, models 19-5 were made from 1982 until 1988.

The serial number places it around 1983. ABL4000 was in Jan 1983 and ADE6700 was in October 1983, so I would guestimate somewhere in between around mid-1983. Disclaimer: Serial numbers may have been used out of sequence.

The model 19 is a versatile handgun. It is relatively small, and can shoot a broad spectrum of ammo from mild 38 specials to 357 magnums. Nice gun.
