Why is it soooo hard to find a used or reasonably priced NIB Glock 33?

Back to my G33 quest,
Mike

Hey Mikie,

I got one before you did. Well kinda, it's my 27 with a factory barrel on the way from www.topglock.com

Good luck finding a G33. It took me 3 months and a week to get one. It was worth the wait!

Just have patience and you will get one. I have a second one on order ;-)

Don't know whats up with the 33's but I waited about three months for mine after I ordered it as well, the 26 was no problem to get, I ordered it on a tuesday and had it in my hands on thursday. The 33 is certainly worth the wait, I'm quite impressed with this little monster.
Good luck.

Try B&H GunRack in Florida.

I got a good deal on a factory refurbished G33 for $399 about 6 months ago.

I got mine from the wife as a Christmas present exactly 49 days before she came home from a co-worker's house at 3:30 in the morning. She's gone needless to say, but I still have the weapon. Loved it shen I shot it (40 rounds CCI/Speer Blazer) but can't decide whether to keep it or trade it for something with a little less emotion attached to it ;)

Obxemt,

I am sorry about what happend. Please let me know if you are going to get rid of your Glock 33, especially if it's oh-so-low price. :)

Mike

I don't know if I would necessarily say "oh-so-low". How about $15.00 and a great big hug? ;) No, seriously, how much are you looking to spend? I have not yet decided because I really do like the gun, but I want to actually see what a 19/23/32 frame feels like first. Feel free to PM or e-mail if you'd like...

My dealer took about six months to find a G33 for me. Apparently, most of his wholesalers don't carry it and at least one never heard of it. The other wholesalers carry the G33 but only infrequently. Finally, one wholesaler got in two of 'em. My dealer ordered one and now it's mine.

BTW, I also asked my dealer to order me a G26 at the same time. It wasn't as hard to find as a G33, but the only ones available had an adjustable rear sight. I wasn't sure this made a lot of sense on a G26, but I went ahead and got it. ;a
