I finally took the plunge and bought a new p32...now i have questions lol. i probably wont be able to make it to the range untill next week so i have some time to burn.
1- i'm thinking of going with the DeSantis Nemesis holster but was wondering if you can carry the p32 in it with the belt clip installed? i want the belt clip but not if it will mess up things with the holster
2 which leads to my next question can any install the belt clip or should i take it to a gunsmith?
3 i've read on KTOG that Fiocchi, 73-grain FMJ is good and a added bonus is that its cheap? the price looks right so if its really decent ammo i might buy some up....got a box of federal amer eagle fmj with the p32 when i bought it.
4 i'm a bigger guy so i was thinking of getting the Grip Extensions from kel tec...any experience with those? good or bad or the 1 round mag ext....not sure which to get yet...just hate to pay $20 for a mag and then another $14 for a 1 round ext.
anyway thanks for any help coming soon and can't wait to shoot this little gun.
2. It is very easy to install the belt clip. You just knock out the current pin and replace it with the new one, there's a screw that will hold the clip in place.
3. I'd try several types of ammo
4. I have very large hands too and I can deal with the flush fitting mags. I wouldn't even worry about the plus ones or extensions..

i got the grip extension's for my two mags. the gun didnt feel comfortable with just two fingers gripping it, now that i have the extensions on it they feel much better.
Be ready to spend several hours on the fluff & buff and maybe 1 trip back to KT.

if it's a new gun, don't worry about fluff and buff. it's fairly easy to install the clip. You don't need the extensions because it's not a range gun meant to be comfortable.
The wife's P32 went back 3 times for the same problem, the trigger didn't release the hammer, before they finally got it right. It has been 100% ever since for about 400 rounds.
we've had very good luck with Fiocci and Sellier and Bellot FMJ. Never mind hollow points. They are rediculously expensive when you consider how many you have to run through the gun to make sure they work, they don't expand anyway, if they do expand, they don't penetrate, and they are too short for the magazine without modifying it. The Fiocci and SB ammo had heavier bullets that clocked faster than the hydrashocks that a club member had. He put about 10 Hydrashocks through his P32 and considered it good to go. Not enough IMO. We're satisfied after a few hundred Fiocci and SB FMJ rounds that the her gun is reliable.
They are a good design, as evident that good ones work 100%. KT quality control is weak, as evident by the ones that don't work. We didn't F&B it as I don't believe in using sandpaper etc. on a gun that should work in the first place. Atleast not with my kitchen table gunsmithing skills.

+1:wow:
This gun is intended to be pulled out anf fired at attackers! It is NOT a "range toy"! I love mine and I carry it often.
FORGET THE COMFORT FACTOR!!!
Get proficient with it just as it is - as YOU WOULD CARRY IT IN YOUR POCKET.
If you need it, it will be ready to save your life!:whistling:

He said it best. Shoot it like it is, learn to shoot it like it is, and accept it for what it is. If you go putting extensions and stuff on it for "comfort" you might as well buy a bigger gun. I would prefer to carry nothing less than a 9mm, but my little P-32 can go anywhere I can wear clothes:rofl:, and that is a lot better than not having anything to protect me and my family. BTW, with the little recoil the 32 has, there is no need to have more than two fingers on the gun. It shoots really good for what it is.
I just recently got mine and stripped it down, rubbed the rails and operated the slide with a little metal polish on them, took an emery board and knocked off the slight mold residue and sharp edges, and absolutely love it. All of it took about 10 minutes then I went out and shot it as fast as I could pull the trigger. Had one light primer strike. I think it was due to short stroking the trigger. I was admittedly trying to make it fail. No problems feeding though. In fact, I reserved the consecutive s/n for my MIL. She like mine so much and needs something to keep with her. It is one she can operate safely, and she has some arthritis in her hands so she is limited. My wife liked it too. My dad bought one and likes his, he never leaves home without it.
BTW I have PMC and Fiochi, and my dad uses Fiochi.

I have a belt clip installed and use it frequently when wearing certain clothing and I find it very handy to have. I also have an Uncle Mike's #1 holster, which is quite similar to the DeSantis holster. I have no problem leaving the belt clip installed and using the clip and holster together. I just tuck the clip inside the holster alongside the pistol and it doesn't conflict in either carry or draw.
I would assume dual use with the DeSantis would be similar, even though the holster's exterior material is different.

Great little guns. I had no problems with mine straight out of the box. I sold it, however, and just recently replaced it with a PF-9. I've only put a couple of mags worth of ball ammo through the PF-9, so far, but so far so good.
