I carry mine in Aker shark skin holster. How much was yours if you don't mind me asking? I paid $450 NIB with two magazines - had to wait 3 months though. Forgoten214 06-27-2008, 16:39 Pictures! cowboywannabe 06-27-2008, 21:23 i bought a used one a while back, my wife claimed it as hers as she tossed her J frame aside.... now ive bought a new one for me so "we" have two of them. they are best gun in this class, will out live me and my grandkids will be still shooting it when all they can do is read about other pocket guns no longer made, or at least no longer original. bhp9mm 06-27-2008, 21:48 i have one in 32 great little guns they are hand made silversport 06-28-2008, 08:44 had mine for nearly 20 years...excellent...little custom trigger work by my friend Teddy Jacobson... http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b72/silversport1/DSC00327.jpg Bill Laserlips 06-28-2008, 10:31 had mine for nearly 20 years...excellent...little custom trigger work by my friend Teddy Jacobson... http://i17.photobucket.com/albums/b72/silversport1/DSC00327.jpg Bill ss: Teddy J. is now a contributing member of the www.seecamp.com forum extended family.. :notworthy: Jesse Laserlips 06-28-2008, 10:42 http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73/Laserlips/100_9658_01.jpg http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73/Laserlips/100b9622-1-1.jpg http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73/Laserlips/100_9447-1.jpg http://i9.photobucket.com/albums/a73/Laserlips/100_7066-1.jpg Which photo does not belong? Jesse dougader 06-28-2008, 11:08 I had three of them that I waited 9 months to get. Excellent little gun with surprising recoil and no sights. Two of them were consecutive serial numbers and I had 5 mags with each gun. I fired one of them, practiced and practiced. Since there are no sights, DO NOT try to sight it. You have to use point shooting technique to get consistent hits. Since I was an IPSC shooter at the time, that was really tough for me to do and took a lot of concentration on my part to keep me from trying to "sight" the gun when firing. Back then Seecamps were going for $1000 - $1500 each. I sold the used one for $1100 and the two others for $1400 each. The mags fetched $60 each... and this was to a gun dealer. With the cash I bought a nice 442 snubby.... with sights, lol... and paid off some bills (I was a college student then). Great gun. I just wish they'd get one built up in 9mm WITH sights for old dogs like me that find it hard to switch their training around from gun to gun. The Rohrbaugh is nice but too darn expensive. I got those Seecamps through the FFL I worked for at cost, which was ~$325 back then. bac1023 06-28-2008, 11:49 I just got my new .32 cal Seecamp today. They seem like good quality pocket pistols. smirnoff 06-28-2008, 14:48 Great gun. I got those Seecamps through the FFL I worked for at cost, which was ~$325 back then. The 380 version of it is already pushing it I think, but I would not mind getting one, but the wait is too long and the price is too high. I am guessing if they were ever to make a 9mm version, it would be about the same price as the Rohrbaugh. cphilip 06-28-2008, 21:44 I love mine. I paid $319 for it just last year. If you look... you will find. Been an extremely reliable gun for me. I carry it when I cannot carry something larger. It is a great Summer carry pocket pistol. http://i142.photobucket.com/albums/r89/cphilip/SeecampPCS2-1.jpg bigdollars 07-01-2008, 03:46 does the LW32 have really bad recoil? Is it as bad as the S&W 642? Is it as bad as the S&W 642? No, its lighter. I am sure 380 version kicks like a mule (I am only judging by my Guardian 380), but Seecamp 32 is the most pleasant pocket pistol I've shot. sisco50 07-01-2008, 07:55 I just got my new .32 cal Seecamp today. It is one Quality piece. I can't wait to get a little range time in. Any other Seecampers out there? I have all three calibers. Folks at the Seecamp forum call it the trifecta. Very nice little pocket pistols if you can afford the price of a high quality handgun. sisco50 07-01-2008, 07:58 I got one - very nice gun indeed. I carry mine in Aker shark skin holster. How much was yours if you don't mind me asking? I paid $450 NIB with two magazines - had to wait 3 months though. Got my .32 for $390 nib at the Conroe gun show about six months ago. I wish I could say the same about the .25 and the .380 but those were very expensive. :crying: sisco50 07-01-2008, 08:05 The 380 version of it is already pushing it I think, but I would not mind getting one, but the wait is too long and the price is too high. I am guessing if they were ever to make a 9mm version, it would be about the same price as the Rohrbaugh. And probably the same size as the R9. I can't quite see a 9mm in the very same pakage as the Seecamp .380 as it is very hard to hold on to when shooting it and 9mm would be even more difficult I think. I just picked up an R9s recently and it shoots very well for the size and weight it is. For CCW there isn't enough difference to matter. They are both tiny pocket pistols. sisco50 07-01-2008, 08:07 No, its lighter. I am sure 380 version kicks like a mule (I am only judging by my Guardian 380), but Seecamp 32 is the most pleasant pocket pistol I've shot. True enough. I practice with the .32 but carry the .380 for that same reason. Laserlips 07-01-2008, 09:02 JMOFartO: I think my favorite thing about the Seecamp pistol is that I have found that in my rear pocket (wallet style) holster I can cc almost anyplace, anytime with ZERO drama.. You know how when you're cc that J-frame Smith, or compact sized but larger caliber pistol you arealways worried about accidental "display", or "printing" and all of that? Not a problem with the Seecamp when carried in a rear pocket holster... It's just "there", and the flexible no-print flap is designed so that you can simply slide your hand down between the "flap" and the holster itself and withdraw the pistol quite easily. Living in the SE (Ga.) it's impractical to wear an outer shirt which might offer concealment for an iwb holster during the long hot, summer months, and every other pistol/revolver I've tried simply cannot be carried, fully concealed, without an outer shirt, or coat or something of that nature. I have the option of a very nice HK P7, Walther PPS, or even an Airweight Bodyguard, and of course when circumstances allow I often carry one or the other of them, IN addition to my LWS32.. But truthfully, especially in the warmer months I just pick up the LWS32 when I head out someplace. No doubt "bigger is better", but smaller is better than nothing at all... IMO I don't care what you chose as a first choice for YOUR cc firearm, I betcha' if you ever tried a Seecamp in a rear wallet style holster you'd starting cc one daily.. In addition to, or in place of, your other cc choice. For folks desirous of a little larger projectile, the LWS380 is available, but it's pricey, and takes a while to get after you place order ($795+12-14mo).. Really too expensive, and takes too long to get... I don't guess a reasonable person would pay so much more and wait so long just to get a Seecamp pistol in 380cal the same size as the Seecamp pistol in 32cal.. But there's no accounting for logic in some people....... MY personalized LWS380 ("LausDeo1") is due in September... Just personal opinion/no offense intended to those with differing opinions. One for me & one for my daughter one day. Great gun, high quality, reliable, and easy on the eyes. There is a reason that the people who own them love them. The craftsmanship is outstanding & customer service if you need it at all is second to none. What other gun manufactor can you call the owner & talk to him personally. Expensive, yes but worth every penny.:perfect10: Pal O' Mine 07-02-2008, 07:11 My pocket carry gun used to be a Kel-Tec P-32, but a 5%+ rate of malfunctions left it far short of my expectations. Finally, after about 500 rounds with no improvement, I gave up and traded it in to my local FFL and bought a Seecamp .32. It's never had a hiccup yet and feels great carrying it in a Hedley front pocket holster. I paid $400 + tax for it three years ago. vBulletin® v3.7.3, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd. | ![]() |
