I tried out my buddy's 1994 CZ75B today. It was cleaned and properly lubed the day before. We fired around 300 rounds of Winchester SaverPack. All rounds fed flawlessly but one possible issue came up about 4 times. Using factory sixteen round mags loaded with 15 rounds, the very last round in the mag fed fine, but when you removed the mag the shell fell out from the mag well. It's like the shell wasn't ejected but either just sat in the chamber or was removed with only enough pressure to rest on the empty mag. We didn't determine which of the two it was. We were using three different mags and didn't note if it was happening with one particular mag or with all three mags. I've had the same thing happen to me before with a Glock 17 but I attributed that to a weak and improper grip. When it happened to me with my buddy's CZ about 3 times I thought about an improper grip but then it happened once to him too so maybe it's not an improper grip.
Later we tried feeding and ejecting snap caps. Shorter length snap caps won't eject if they're the last round in the mag but longer length snap caps will eject just fine no matter they're position in the mag.
What could be causing this issue?
