Well, almost. I was at the pawn shop on Saturday with a buddy getting in some range time. When we were paying our tabs, I noticed a Saiga 12 hanging on the rack. I've been wanting one of these, so I inquired about the price. The gentleman looked at the tag and said "$175". I promptly said "I'll take it." He handed me the papers and I started to fill them out. Then he noticed the tag said .22LR and he went and check with his boss. He comes back and says that it was a pricing mistake and the real price is $750. I told him they could keep it. I knew it was a price mistake but I was hoping the purchase could take place before they realized. Do you guys think this thing is worth $750? I want it, but don't they retail for $300-$400?

$750 is also the wrong price tag, maybe they took it off a used Kimber or something. Them turds thought they had a sucker and you would do anything to get it.
$275.00 is more like it. I saw a Mosin Nagant M44 for $495.00 one time at a shop and asked if that was the right price. He said he would do $475.00 and that was the lowest he would go... Just because they sell 'em doesn't mean they know what they are doing.
Dumb is dumb, and they is dumb.

Dealer price for a Saiga 12 a few months ago was $363 and change. Fools and their money are soon parted, which is the reason S-12 prices have gone through the roof. Remember, just a couple years ago these things sold for $249.
I may talk to my dealer about ordering another one...
$500 is a good price for a bone stock model in my area currently (because of the price increases on everything). I've been looking for one for about 4-5 months and I still haven't found anything.
Izmash has ceased production of the Saiga-12 due to "retooling", as a result price for an NIB Saiga-12 has gone up to around $500-800.
No word on when Izmash will continue production of the Saiga-12.
The place where I get my firearms has saigas for less than 500. I even want to say less than 400. All calibers from 12 gauge to 308.

I paid $379 for mine about 4 months ago. Just recently had it converted and an ultimak put on. All I need now is an Aimpoint T-1 and I'm set

Yes! And we all want one...I even bought four of the 10-round mags in anticipation of buying one!
You are NOT alone dude! I could have bought one for $450 WITH A 10-rnd. MAG, but the wife said "no":crying:.
I am still sick about it.

Well, seeing as how she just gave birth to my son two months ago, I think I will let her slide this time!
I am still sick about it though.
