anyone knows how to replace the barrel on 10/22? i am getting a nice long barrel for my zombie tactical precision 10/22 and need to swap out the old one.

Basically, take the action out of the stock, use an allen key to take the barrel wedge out, then muscle out the factory barrel and install the new one. When I did mine, it wasn't very easy at all...I've heard after the first one, though, it gets easier.

screw driver to remove the barrel band (if you have one) and an allen wrench to separate the stock, receiver & barrel. super simple in my experience. rimfirecentral.com is a great resource.
