I walked into a gunshop who a friend of mine owns. She had a used Kimber Stainless II with night sights, laser grips and 4 magazines. Gun looked to be in excellent condition. I bought it for 700.00

Yes you did. I'm not a big fan of lasers, but you did great from a value standpoint.

Yes, that is a good deal, assuming somebody wasn't selling their problems. I read too often "It didn't work so I got rid of it."

I found out today that the fellow who is selling the gun works for a police dept. near where I live. I know most of the officers who work there. They all said that the gun works fine. The fellow needs some money for some medical bills. I shot the gun behind the gunshop and it seems to function just fine.

By the way, what if we had said "You were robbed, that is a $500 gun?"
