View Full Version : Hey Bubbala- question
Do you ever have that sulfur powder around - for the horses, exterior owies and whatnot? If so, do you know where I could get it online w/o a Vet Rx?
Mel. It's available all over the net and doesn't look like it requires a Rx. If it's generally used (I have no idea) for equine use, perhaps a feed store? :dunno:
Z- I've been looking for it, and the closest I found is "Wonder Dust" ?
MEDICINAL INGREDIENTS:
Iodoform . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.0%
Potassium Alum . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 5.0%
Flowers of Sulfur . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.0%
Tannic Acid . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 2.0%
Activated Charcoal . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 5.0%
Copper Sulfate . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 13.0%
Hydrated Lime . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . 71.0%
What I was hoping to find was the sulfur powder that we once used on my horse, eons and decades ago, after she took off several layers of skin from getting her back legs tangle/woven in between the lines of plain, smooth wire that then made the wire and railroad tie post fence.
I'm gonna call the couple of 'tack and feed' stores I found in the phone book for this part of town....... but online, anything much different than that above all indicated Vet Rx required. ??
You got any links maybe?

Oh, I should add really - I want the stuff for a place that started out as a spider bite some time ago and which he's just continually nibbled at, so it goes and goes in terms of size, degree of inflammation, potential infection, etc. I DON'T need the stuff because I got too close w/the clippers or nailed him with the hair shears.
Lemme try your google link. Thanks!
Yea, we keep it around. I think you might be talking about Wonder Dust.
You can get it here. http://www.valleyvet.com/
