Wolf Ammo Tins

Looking for some assistance. I purchased a Wolf Ammo tin but I am not sure how to open it. It came with a "tool" but wanted to ask so that I don't mess it up. I heard that they were a bear to open. Here is a link with a picture. Thanks.

You are not supposed to open them!! It is made to bury!






JK. The opener works just like a can opener on your swiss army knife. The can steel is pretty soft it should open easy. If it does not then who cares. Mangle the freakin' can and get the ammo out and shoot........

Yep, just make sure you are going in the right direction with the opener. I cursed for 10 minutes before I figured out I was going the wrong way. I got rid of my tins so I don't remember which is the right direction. My point is that if it seems harder than it should be, try going the other way. The corners were a PITA from what I remember.

I just opened a can of .45 acp. I think the proper direction is "toward you." In other words, with the tool in your right hand, you link it under the rim, press down, lift up, slide toward you, and repeat as needed.

Be careful. Those edges are sharp!
