kubura, I'm a big fan of Armscor and think they make very good quality 1911s for the price. In fact, I like them much better then Taurus, which cost at least $100 more. I've got a RIA GI, Charles Daly EFS, and STI Spartan, all made, by and large, by Armscor. The RIA Match is an enhanced 1911, similar in many ways to the EFS that I have. Besides the longslide, the differences include the front strap checkering, which the EFS doesn't have, and the target sights.

Here's my EFS. You can see the similarities, down to the trigger and grip safety. After all, they are made by the same company. I think they may even have the same wood grips.

BTW, my Charles Daly has never failed once.

As soon as I receive my new RIA Match 1911, I will take and post pics. :wavey:

BTW, Dan Wesson CBOB (birthday present from my wife!!!:smootchie:) is on it's way from Bud's to my FFL. I am impatiently waiting to put my hands on her:drool:... I mean the CBOB :eyelashes:!
