Found a place with Dan Wesson Valor's in Stock and handled one

I know a lot of people are looking for these. I went to Whittaker Guns in Owensboro KY last week and picked up 6 rifles. While I was there, I handled one of their Valors. As per people's reviews...they are great. I wanted to let everyone know that Whittakers had three for sale and that they sell through their website www.whittakerguns.com

The price was 1,143.

If someone is on the fence about these, they sure seemed like a terrific gun. The guy who works there says they are his favorite 1911 they sell (and they sell Baers, Wilsons, Browns, Nighthawks, etc.)

That is a great price. It is less than Buds (one of the lowest on-line dealers) sold it for.

I do not know the shop, but that is a great price on a hard to find gun.

Its a good shop. Over 6,000 guns in stock. My family and I have bought 8 handguns and about 12 long guns from them this year...so I can definitely vouch for them. I've heard they move about 35 guns a day through their online store and about 75 guns a day in store.

I spoke to a CZ rep at a gun shop today.
He said they are only going to make 100 Valors a year.
Yes, he said 100 a year.
Also, he had no product to display other than what the retailer already had :(

If you're interested...whittaker's might still have some of the three they had in stock. That is one of the reason why I posted this b/c I had noticed several GTers mentioning they were on the look out for a Valor

True, but in a year, I've seen 3 Springfield PROs at gunshops.
No dan wessons.

Well, its not a Springfield Custom Professional, but the Valor is less than half the price.
