G33 chrono info [Archive]

Anybody have any chrono data for the G33? I'm torn between the G32 and G33.

My G27 with 357 Sig barrel chronographed Georgia Arms Shear Power plus (125 gr jhp) around 1300 fps, IIRC. Pro Load 125 gr jhp went 1387 average out of the same gun.

You asked for it, you got it.

Most of the loads listed in the attachment below are my reloads shot out of a G33 over the last year or so. There are two factory loads that I chrongraphed for comparison.

Although you do lose some velocity due to the smaller barrel this is still a SMOKIN' round in this pistol and I can't think of too many self defense calibers that match this kind of performance out of a compact, short-barreled firearm.

Here is what I came up with a while back out of my G33.

Glock 33

Speer Gold Dot 125 grain GDHP

1- 1290.3

2- 1281.8

3- 1290.5

4- 1300.8

5- 1285.1

Average-1298.7 ES-19.0 SD7.2
